Stolen Vehicle
1659 W. North Temple St.

Officers responded to a report of a recovered stolen vehicle. They observed a male exit the vehicle and flee on foot. The suspect was apprehended a short distance away. Andrew Hastings, 31, was booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to stop at command of a police officer and possession of another’s identifying document.

Occupied Stolen Vehicle
176 W. 600 S.

Officers observed an unoccupied stolen vehicle and set up surveillance. A male opened the vehicle with a key. Officers contacted that male and the investigation led officers to a suspect staying at the hotel. The male suspect was taken to jail on felony warrants. At jail, Newman stated that he had swallowed drugs and was transported to a local hospital. Charges related to the stolen vehicle will be screened.
