9:40 p.m.
Aggravated Assault
906 N. Cornell St.

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male who had a firearm and threatened three people. The male fired rounds from the firearm and fled in a vehicle. An officer located the vehicle and a felony stop was conducted. The suspect, Guillermo Meza, 32, was taken into custody and booked into jail for aggravated assault, intoxication, possession of a weapon by a restricted person, resisting arrest and discharging a firearm in city limits.

Occupied Stolen Vehicle
1245 S. 900 W.

A female suspect was observed by officers getting into a vehicle listed as stolen. The suspect was identified as Emele Tuaolo, 26, and was booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

10:30 p.m.
Illegal Firearm Arrest
1665 W. 700 N.

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle and one of the juvenile passengers fled on foot. He was observed discarding a firearm into another occupied vehicle as he ran from the stop. He was taken into custody a short distance away. He was booked into juvenile detention for related charges.
