Burglary

Officers responded on a burglary in progress and stopped the suspect as he exited the building. During the investigation they learned he had arrived in a stolen vehicle. Ricky Lafaele, 34, was arrested for trespassing, burglary tools, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and warrants.

Traffic Incident
I-80 Redwood Road

A vehicle was driving North on Redwood Road when the suspect vehicle rear-ended it. The suspect’s vehicle rolled onto the Eastbound onramp of I-80. The suspect was able to get out of the vehicle and fled on foot. He was located several blocks away. The driver was processed for DUI and hit and run. No one was injured.

Officers responded on a report of shots fired. Officers located shell casings but there were no reports of damage or injuries.
