Enticing a Minor

Special Investigations Detectives were posing as a child online when they were contacted by Eric Bechard, 33. Bechard indicated that he wanted to engage in sexual activity and arranged to meet. Officers took him into custody when he arrived at the meet up location. Bechard was taken to jail for charges related to enticing a minor.

Aggravated Assault
242 W. Paramount Ave.

Two males got into a confrontation with each other. The suspect David Saxton, 59, punched the other male in the face causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground. Saxton then stood over the victim and continued to punch the victim until he lost consciousness. Saxton was taken to jail for aggravated assault.

Possession of Gun by Restricted Person

Officers stopped a vehicle leaving the park. There was drug paraphernalia in plane view within the vehicle. The passenger was identified as Roddie Battle, 35. Battle had several warrants out for his arrest. A gun was found under the seat he was sitting in. Battle was taken to jail for possession of the firearm.

Wanted Subject
435 E. Sego Ave.

Officers spotted a vehicle involved in an incident in West Jordan. Officers attempted to contact the person associated with the vehicle and the incident. The vehicle had been stolen so officers began impounding the vehicle. Shortly thereafter the person officers were looking for came out of the house and surrendered to officers. Carson Warr, 30, was taken to jail on charges related to the incident in West Jordan.
