An officer spotted a vehicle that had just struck another vehicle and became high centered on a median. As the officer approached to check on the occupants, the male driver and the female passenger fled on foot. Other officers in the area were able to stop the suspects and take them into custody. The male driver, Carlos Castellanos, 19, was arrested for failure to stop at the command of police, failure to remain on the scene of an accident, and driving on a suspended license. The female, Sherri Clawson, 19, was taken to jail for the above charges as well as possession of marijuana.
