SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank held a press conference today to announce the “Code R Kits Project” to review and make public the status of every sexual assault evidence collection kit — aka Code R kit — in the custody of the Salt Lake City Police Department. Joining him were Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill and Commander Keith Squires of the Utah Department of Public Safety:
