SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate a man (pictured above) suspected of robbing the University Federal Credit Union Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 5:20 p.m., the man entered the credit union 3088 S. Richards Richmond St., produced a weapon and demanded money from a teller. After getting the cash, he exited the credit union and headed northbound on foot. Due to the subject’s display of a weapon during the robbery, the public should consider the suspect to be armed and dangerous.

Suspect:

  • Male adult, white or Asian
  • late-20s to early-30s
  • 5 feet 8 inches tall
  • Wearing a blue hoodie and a black ski hat
  • Possibly wearing fake “goatee” and wig
