SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department will be working with 7-Eleven® to distribute free Slurpee® drink coupons to children and youth through its popular Operation Chill® community-service program. For the kick-off event, officers will be at 175 East 800 South tomorrow from 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. visiting with the public and handing out coupons to kids.
During 2017, 7-Eleven will issue up to 1.33 million Slurpee coupons to almost 1,000 law enforcement agencies; 7,500 of those will be distributed in Salt Lake City, most during the summer months and back-to-school season.
