SLCPD Needs Help Identifying Suspect in Auto Theft
 

SALT LAKE CITY— The Salt Lake City Police Department needs the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of stealing a car from a man who had given her a ride.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. Sunday, July 20, the driver stopped at the 7-Eleven at 1285 N. Redwood Road to use the restroom. While he was inside the store, the suspect drove off with the car, a black 2000 Nissan Xterra, Utah license plate D236KD.

Suspect description:

  • white female adult
  • 30-40 years of age
  • Heavy build
