Questions About Crime? ‘Coffee with a Cop’ Offers Answers, Java

February 21, 2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department invites the public to talk about crime over a cup of coffee during the next “Coffee with a Cop” one week from today at The Rose Establishment, 235 S. 400 W., in downtown Salt Lake City.

Community Intelligence Officers will be on hand to talk about crime trends and answer questions, while The Rose will offer a cup of coffee to anyone who speaks with an officer.

“Coffee with a Cop” is held the fourth Thursday of the month at a coffee shop in the city. A collaborative effort to solve public safety issues at the neighborhood level, the community outreach effort is supported by Salt Lake City, Local First Utah and the Downtown Alliance.
