July 11,2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect in the robbery of a Zions Bank branch earlier this morning.

At approximately 10:40 a.m., a black male adult wearing a red mask entered Zions Bank at 910 W. 2100 S., brandished a weapon and demanded money. After receiving some money, the suspect left the bank and was last seen headed northbound on foot. As a result, investigators believe local business patrons or others in the area may have seen him.

Suspect description:

  • male black adult
  • 6 feet tall, thin build
  • distinctive red mask
  • wearing light blue or white shirt, dress pants and dress shoes
  • multi-colored beanie type of hat
