SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect in the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank branch earlier today.

At approximately 4:22 p.m., a man entered the bank at 1255 E. Brickyard Rd. He approached the teller, presented a weapon and demanded money. The suspect took the cash, left by way of the west doors, and got into a waiting vehicle that fled the scene southbound.

The primary suspect (above) is a white male adult, 30-40 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches tall, medium build, with a scruffy white or blond goatee, and wearing a hooded sweatshirt bearing the “AND1” logo. Witnesses described the getaway vehicle, which was driven by a woman, as a blue SUV.
